Introduction
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a security process that requires users to provide multiple forms of identification before gaining access to an account or application. Typically, this involves something you know (like a password) and something you have (like a mobile device). By combining these factors, MFA significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access.
Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP)
TOTP is a widely adopted form of MFA. A TOTP is a temporary code generated from a TOTP application which you use alongside your regular password to sign in.

Steps for setting up MFA:
1. Choose your avatar and proceed to the 'My Profile' page.
2. Select the ‘Security’ tab
3. To initiate the process click on 'Setup MFA'
You may be required to provide your password as part of the verification process.
4. Scan the QR code or manually enter the code into your TOTP application. Your TOTP application will then generate a one-time code every 30 seconds. Please enter this code into the 'Enter Verification Code' field and then click the 'Enable MFA' button.
5. MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) is now enabled.
You will be prompted to enter a one-time code from your TOTP application at your next login.
