Generate a FastA file from an input FastQ file or from a raw sequence and a name
Tool Walkthrough
- Locate the Generate FastA tool on the Form Bio platform. The ToolBox can be found on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Currently, Generate FastA supports two modes of file creation - either from an uploaded FastQ file, or from a name and a raw sequence. Follow the associated prompts for your chosen function, and press Submit when ready.
- You’ll be directed to a new page while your file is created - the status screen should look similar to below.
- When file generation is complete, you will see a brief synopsis of your workflow run, including your input data and the output FastA file. You can view the file in the data explorer by selected Go To Output Folder, and you can download the input file, output FastA file, or both to your personal machine.
